Tracy Hutson Bio

Tracy Hutson was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and became a model at age fourteen. Her beauty got her contracts to work in Milan, Monte Carlo, Tokyo and Geneva, but she moved to Los Angeles in 1997 to broaden her entertainment career and to pursue her interest in interior design. Hutson has appeared in many sitcoms and TV commercials, and she has also had the lead in two theater productions.

Hutson has over a decade of experience in the entertainment and fashion industries, and she took those experiences to heart when she started her own company, Tracy Hutson Designs, in 1999. She customizes each design to her client's lifestyle and tastes, whether the project involves a full-home remodel or just revamping one particular room. She has always liked to have a project in the pipeline, and can frequently be found browsing specialty boutiques and antique stores. She also has a network of contacts to help her find just the right piece of fabric or furniture for her current project.

Hutson's "anything goes" design philosophy has made her one of Los Angeles' most popular interior designers. She is currently the interior style/shopping designer on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and her bubbly personality adds fun and creativity to the show. She is continually growing her design business with projects in both California and Texas.
